SAN PEDRO DE COLALAO


San Pedro de Colalao is a town with many people in summer but some people in winter. It is exciting; it has a long history and rich culture.
The weather is subtropical, so hot in summer but cooler from March to September.
For those who like shopping S.P.C has interesting “artesanìas” made of cotton, leather and wood; regional sweets (higo, cayote),regional cheese and regional food like empanadas, asado ,etc. Those interested in sightseeing can visit NATURAL SITES, eg: Monte Bello, Puente Del Indio, etc.
CULTURAL SITES, eg: a museum, a library, “Centro de artesanos”, the church, “the groutte of Lourdes” and HISTORICAL SITES like “Piedra Pintada”
Those interested in festivals can enjoy several festivals in S.P.C :“FESTIVAL DE LA NUEZ, DE LA HUMITA and DEL LOCRO”
There are other activities:”PEREGRINACION A HUALINCAY, MARCADAS, FIESTA DE SAN PEDRO”. They are very important for the people from S.P.C.
